This course is a โminorโ course to expose engineering technology students to the economic aspects of maritime economics & transport. The knowledge imparted to students will give them the basic understanding required in order to be involved in maritime business. Notwithstanding its status as a โminorโ course, it is important to help achieve the vision and mission of the university as well as the one of the Programme Educational Objectives i.e. to produce graduates who are capable of embarking in business and technopreneurial activities especially in the maritime sector.
